Things to keep in mind when owning a Shiba Inu

Shiba Inu’s skin is very sensitive, so be careful of skin diseases. They are susceptible to allergic dermatitis. Please pay attention to their food and skin care.

They have a high density of fine hair to protect their fragile skin, so regular brushing is necessary.

It will get rid of your dog's unwanted hairs and protect it from ticks and other harmful substances.

The fine hair also makes drying difficult when it is wet. Wet hair is unhygienic and can cause bacteria to grow. When the hair is wet after shampooing, do not leave it wet. Use a towel or hair dryer and dry it thoroughly.

Please take care especially during the hair replacement period. Brush your dog thoroughly. As an experienced breeder, we advise so.

Also, Shiba Inus need a small area of their own.

Regardless of where you keep your Shiba Inu, indoors or outdoors, please provide him with a small area of his own, such as a cage with a door.

From a human point of view, you may worry that he may feel cramped, or you may want to let him relax in a spacious area.

However, Shiba Inus are very territorial, so the larger their territory, the more they feel a burden for that. If the dog is always cautious, it will tire people out as well.
